The best paper isn't the most expensive or the highest quality. It's the one that best matches what your project tells. This series will help you make the right choices.
- Natalie Thiriez is Creative Director for the weekly Le 1, which she cofounded in 2014 with Éric Fottorino, Henry Hermand and Laurent Greilsammer. Wanting to offer a genuine "press object", Le 1 presents itself as a large sheet of paper folded in 4 on which writers, artists, researchers and journalists break down a major topic each week. An original format that calls for covering and consuming current events differently.
- Apolline Labrosse is Creative Director of the feminist magazine Censored, cofounded in 2018 with her sister Clémentine Labrosse. The magazine documents art, culture and contemporary struggles through a feminist and queer lens. It stands out for its original and sensory covers, always serving the content of each issue.
To go further
- Whether you print posters and cards occasionally to support events, or your media revolves around a paper format (magazine, newsletter, book…), you always end up facing the thorny question of paper. Thick or thin? Textured or smooth? Bright white or warm ivory? Our Creative Director Christelle Perrin helps you see more clearly.
