The context
Help an established media company enhance its editorial products and strengthen its marketing strategy
In spring 2024, the team at Jours, a media outlet cofounded by journalists Raphaël Garrigos and Isabelle Roberts, asked us to create the design for their new newsletter "Scrountch": a free weekly editorial newsletter about to be launched. A few months later, the team trusted us again to support them from a strategic and operational perspective on marketing matters
Editorial newsletter redesign
Imagine the mockup
We designed the visual identity of "Scrountch ", the editorial newsletter from Jours launched in spring 2024. This design was created in continuity with Jours's visual identity so that its form echoes its substance: vibrant colors and dynamic shapes around a clearly structured section-based layout, and typeface combinations we hope are pleasant to read. We also created a background pattern using the Jours monogram in the form of a "J".
We structured it in sections that stand out from one another to make it easier to read quickly, and adjusted the email fonts to ensure reading comfort.

Operational Marketing Support
Support the team with their daily marketing needs and guide the repositioning
In autumn 2024, we are mobilized by the marketing, communication and development team to work alongside them on a daily basis: we provide operational support in carrying out marketing tasks (defining messages for the website, emails, newsletters…). We also support the leadership team from a strategic perspective: the idea is to assess existing practices (via an internal questionnaire, a report of observations) in order to help Les Jours strengthen its marketing strategy (editorial feedback on identity messaging elements, framework documents/practical implementation related to the value proposition, strategic advice memo for subscription campaigns…).
