From strategy to launch:
supporting media creation
The context
Le Cri is the first radical and joyful Christian media outlet that explores the major ecological, social and political issues of our time. Founded by Paul Piccarreta and Théo Moy, it offers journalism that blends politics and spirituality through a monthly 68-page magazine, a website, a YouTube channel and social media.
To support the launch of this new media outlet, enable its initial financing, and recruit its first subscribers, the team at Le Cri called on Médianes to:
- creating a dedicated campaign page for crowdfunding;
- the strategic and editorial framework of the campaign ;
- operational support and campaign management;
- the design and development of their media website.

Strategic and Editorial Framework
Define a campaign marketing strategy
Strategic framing was the first phase of the mission. The objective was to define a clear vision for the campaign and to structure the necessary actions for its rollout. After reviewing the business plan, Médianes facilitated a launch meeting with the founders to clarify the strategic priorities, financial objectives, and key messages of the campaign.
This phase resulted in the drafting of a strategic and editorial framework document, the development of a comprehensive media kit including a press release, contributor kit and visuals, as well as a mapping of audiences and potential relay channels. A detailed communication calendar was implemented, defining follow-ups and touchpoints to be tracked to maximize impact. This preparation made it possible to structure the campaign and lay the groundwork for consistent operational deployment.

Operational implementation
After the strategic framework, it's time to implement. The objective: to guide and equip the team to run a campaign independently. First step: deploy a functional and sustainable pre-sales platform.
Between May and June 2025, Médianes designed and integrated a pre-sale page by creating a dedicated mini-site, the cornerstone of the fundraising campaign. After designing the page based on the media's visual identity, this campaign mini-site was configured to enable subscription sales and reward purchases. A progress bar was implemented to track contributions in real time. The Cri team was trained in using this mini-site, ensuring they had the autonomy and ability to manage pre-sales throughout the campaign.
Campaign monitoring and management
Supporting the team throughout the campaign
Throughout the campaign, Médianes supported the team on both operational and strategic levels. The goal: to help the team stay on course, adjust objectives week after week based on results. Throughout the campaign, weekly check-ins were organized, complemented by weekly task lists tailored to objectives, and detailed sales reports.
Médianes was also able to provide advice on specific topics: logistics questions, technical monitoring, graphic design and visual content. A mid-course meeting made it possible to review the strategy and adjust the actions. Finally, a complete campaign report was produced, with key figures and recommendations for the post-campaign period.
Heartening and promising results
The campaign achieved its objectives on multiple fronts. First, from an economic perspective, with the initial target of €50,000 reached in 2 days, then over €120,000 collected in one month, with over 2,000 orders recorded. By the end of October 2025, the €150,000 target had been nearly reached, ensuring financial stability for the media outlet. This campaign was an opportunity to build a solid base of committed subscribers (mostly on annual plans) for Le Cri. Finally, the media outlet's visibility increased considerably: numerous press mentions and a notable presence in several roundtables, beyond traditional Christian circles, testify to genuine enthusiasm for Le Cri, which successfully reached out to its audiences.
Creation of Le Cri media website
Following a successful fundraising campaign, we helped the media outlet create its website. The goal: showcase its initial articles while giving readers the ability to subscribe and purchase different issues online.
We designed the site's artistic direction as an extension of the visual identity established for the print publication. We needed to adapt it for the web, since usage and objectives differ: adding new, less saturated colors for backgrounds, adjusting typefaces to maximize readability, and designing interactive elements: hover reactions, selection states.
We proposed a very simple website structure, with minimal navigation, a visual upon opening the print magazine to make clear it's the flagship product, and a distinction between primary and secondary buttons to establish an action hierarchy.
The goals were to create a clear site where it's obvious that the media is a print magazine, offering articles online that are pleasant to read and with links between them. Subscriptions and donations are also prominently featured.
