The context
Take control of your preorder campaign
Tempura, a printed magazine, wanted to move its preorder campaign directly to its own website, freeing itself from third-party crowdfunding platforms. At this stage of its development, the challenge was to have complete control over its tool, design, and costs, while creating a reusable system from one campaign to the next. Médianes was called upon to design, integrate, and configure this preorder page, optimized for conversion and consistent with the magazine's visual identity.

Web design
Adapt the art direction to the campaign
The first step was to adapt Tempura's overall site visual identity and the atmosphere of the issue being preordered, to produce a preorder page that maintained overall continuity while making it clear that this landing page was entirely dedicated to this specific issue. We played with colors, photography, button styles, and hover effects. We thus adapted our generic funding page template, developed in both mobile and desktop versions, specifically for this issue.

Integration
Integrate and configure the technical system
Once the design was validated, we handled the complete technical integration of the page via WordPress with Gutenberg FSE, and configured the presale system via WooCommerce: creating rewards, goal gauge, and GDPR automations. A dedicated subdomain was set up to isolate the campaign while linking it to the magazine's existing ecosystem. The project concluded with a one-hour training session on using and modifying graphic elements, as well as the delivery of technical documentation, enabling Tempura's team to manage their future campaigns independently.
At the end of the campaign, Tempura sold 816 copies of the issue, representing 406% of their goal, which was 200 copies.
