For this new edition of the Médianes Program, ten projects led by passionate teams have been selected to receive nine months of collective support. The objective: to enable them to step back and reflect on their project, deepen their knowledge in areas useful to their media's development, internalize entrepreneurial and management skills, and scale up to the next level.
This support program, grounded in values of social justice and the defense of an inclusive and sustainable society, is aimed at independent media outlets, generalist or specialized, committed to producing quality information with a positive impact on society.
Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture, Médianes continues, through the Médianes Program, to offer support at a rate of €150 per month per participant, while relying on a network of expert practitioners.
A rich selection with complementary profiles
Among the 35 projects submitted in response to the call for applications launched last February, 22 of them were selected to participate in individual interviews with members of Médianes. A panel of media experts then met to review the projects and select 10 media outlets. The goal: to build a cohesive and complementary cohort, aligned with Médianes' values, capable of benefiting from each other's strengths and experience, so as to foster collective dynamics of mutual support.
In selecting projects, we have ensured diversity among those retained, across their formats, themes, and stages of development. From the Mediterranean to the English Channel, passing through Auvergne and New Aquitaine; magazines, online media, newsletters; launched a few months or several years ago; addressing ecology, social justice, democratic challenges… We look forward to working with all these exciting media outlets.

What next?
Over the next nine months, participants will benefit from collective and individual support: first through structured group sessions (masterclasses, workshops, exchanges with other media sector professionals and media leaders) for 3 months, then through individual mentoring for 6 months. The training modules, led by media experts and professionals, will cover strategy, marketing, management, design, law, and communication. We look forward to tracking their progress and sharing it with you!
