Why launch the Creating a Media training?

For 4 years at Médianes, we have been developing methods and tools to help you grow media outlets and foster the emergence of new voices. Through our activities — our support studio, articles, newsletters, practical guides, and our Chemins podcast — we support and highlight media outlets that seek to have a positive and virtuous impact on society. In April 2024, we published our book Creating a Media Outlet, a practical manual for those who wish to launch an independent and committed media project, and that same year, we launched the Médianes Program — with a third edition planned for spring 2025 — with the goal of supporting media leaders whose outlets are between 1 and 8 years old in developing and consolidating their projects.

What now? To strengthen our commitment to independent and engaged actors, while remaining accessible to emerging organizations, we wanted to develop our training offerings. To do this, Médianes obtained Qualiopi certification, which allows us to guarantee the quality of our content and enables participants to benefit from professional training support.

A first edition starting February 2025

In February 2025, Médianes will thus offer a first edition of the Create a Media training designed to support projects at the beginning of their journey, whether they are in the ideation phase, in their early months or already launched, with the aim of professionalization and consolidation. The training is accessible to all profiles, professionals in the sector or not, regardless of their media format: paper magazine, newsletter, video, podcast, website, etc.

True to its commitment, Médianes encourages the development of media with business models centered on their audiences, while ensuring their viability and editorial independence. Through our expertise, we help project leaders create media that is coherent, tailored to their needs and to the realities of the media ecosystem.
