Mainstreaming climate issues is the first point addressed in the Charter for Journalism Equal to the Ecological Emergency. As a signatory, the Christian daily La Croix has just undergone a transformation consisting of integrating the environment into its Business pages. "Fundamentally, the economic sphere is the real pivot," explains Jérôme Chapuis, editor-in-chief of the newspaper, to Vert.

Create an eco-responsible website
Who said an eco-designed website had to be ugly and inconvenient? Align your actions with your values by reducing your own environmental impact. Among the best practices to adopt: choose a green hosting provider, minimize code and favor clean design. The result? Faster page loads and a better user experience.

Demonstrate transparency
To reduce your emissions, nothing beats measuring them. Several tools can help you, such as the Carbo website, the Ecotree calculator, or this dashboard created by Le Monde's video team. Then communicate how you're making your vision a reality by publishing a sustainability report. At Norwegian group Schibsted, this also takes the form of an impact assessment.
